Cara Triste is a visual identity system developed for the latest release by a jazz trio. The project focused on translating the emotional landscape of the music, sadness, hope and transformation, into a visual language that feels expressive, fluid and alive.

Titles, credits and graphic assets were developed through a typographic approach, using rhythm, variation and subtle movement as visual tools. Inspired by the improvisational nature of jazz, the system balances structure and spontaneity, allowing each element to shift while remaining coherent.

The result is a flexible identity that enhances the relationship between sound and image. A visual system designed to move, breathe and evolve alongside the music.
