Translating sound into a flexible visual system
I developed a visual and conceptual proposal for CONTROL, the ninth studio album by Caramelos de Cianuro, one of the most influential Spanish rock bands from Venezuela.
The project focused on building a cinematic visual language that connected music and identity through a flexible branding system. Starting from existing band photography, the process evolved through visual references and atmospheric exploration to define a tone that felt intimate, controlled and emotionally driven.
The result was a scalable visual approach designed to live across different formats while maintaining conceptual coherence. Although the proposal was not selected, the project stands as a strong exploration of creative direction, visual storytelling and the relationship between design and music.
